Doors Windows Glazing Conservatories

Conservatories Victorian / Edwardian

The instant extra room, these conservatories are by far the most versatile and can add either the extra room needed by a growing family or the tranquillity of a garden indoors to enjoy.

We have been installing conservatories for 15 years and no two applications have been identical. The choices are immeasurable and we have yet to find a situation where we could not install a conservatory.

You will find a selection of Victorian and Edwardian conservatories fitted by Keltic Windows Ltd. in the gallery but this by no means represents a full selection of what is available.

VENTILATION
Incorporated into every fooring system is the high security patented 'trickle ventilation' system allowing a constant flow of air. A steady flow of air is essential in any conservatory to minimise condensation and reduce heat gain in those summer months. In addition, a selection of fans and roof vents are available, manually or electronically opened.

PARABOLIC EAVESBEAM SYSTEM
This high strength one piece aluminium extrustion is available in standard and heavy duty formats. The system accomodates 5-35 degree pitches and incorporates optional hit and miss ventilation. A push-fit cladding and gutter bracket ensure optimum installation times are achived.

CONSTRUCTION - Rapid installation times are achieved by Ultraframe’s quick-fit features.
The system has been designed to offer fitting details unique to PVCu and aluminium — clip-fit cappings and cladding, all structural components are fitted using the speedy captivated boltslot, jack rafter glazing fixing and co-extruded gaskets. Minimal drilling and screwing is required benefiting the installer with these significant time and labour saving designs.

DURABILITY- PVCu is long life, maintenance free and has exceptional durability under the most exposed weather conditions. Together with a secondary drainage system incorporated into every glazing bar and valley gutter member, dual seal ridge protection and cappings which exclude any form of puncture fixing, the system has complete integrity against weather penetration.

STRENGTH - Ultraframe conservatory roofs are manufactured to the following British Standards and Codes of Practice having passed the government backed BBA testing regime and under an approved BS EN ISO 9000 Quality Management certification for design, manufacture and supply and production:

  • BS6399 Part 3- Snow loadings for buildings CP3 Chapter V: part 2 BS6399: part 2- Wind Loadings BS55 16 vertical and sloping patent glazing
  • BS6262- Glazing for buildings CP1 18/BS8 118- structural use of aluminium.

The in-house structural design team will assist in providing calculations to prove the structural integrity of Ultrafrarne’s Roofline system for building regulation submission or will advise on other structural requirements for conservatories.
